Trying to enjoy our last bit of weekend while Brandon tended to his plants, the kids and I went outside for a bit yesterday afternoon. Andrew got to enjoy the sandbox for the first time! Since he just recently began sitting up by himself, I thought I'd try it and he really enjoyed it. I think the new feeling of the sand and grabbing all the toys in there was a lot of fun for him.
Lillian began a task of finding one of Brandon's flower pots and collecting things in it. She had a collection of rocks and dirt chunks overflowing the pot by the time we went in! Of course when you have a sandbox and a big playscape, your child wants to play with rocks!
