SANTA

We got dressed up today and went to visit Santa! The kids were so cute this year. They went right up to him and Andrew looked all shy as they sat on his lap. Lillian leaned across and and whispered in Andrew's ear to remind him to tell Santa he wanted dinosaur toys for Christmas! ha ha....Then Andrew said "Dinosaurs" softly to Santa and then Lillian went on tell Santa what she wanted. I was so glad we didn't have any scaredy-cats this year! Marjorie was a little unsure of being held with her brother and sister, but it was a cute picture!

Marjorie's First Food

Marjorie had suddenly gotten interested in what we were eating, so I decided it was time for baby food! We tried apples and rice cereal and it was a success! She loved it and gobbled it down! My baby girl is growing up!!

Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving Day was spent at my dad's house in Rusk. It was cloudy and cool, but we had a good time....besides the kids getting out in the mud and dog poop and me having to clean off their nasty shoes! Yuck! Jamie made lots of great food and we all filled our bellies!

Thanksgiving Parties

The kids had some great Thanksgiving feasts at preschool! They were so excited to go to school today and show me their placemats and crafts that they made. They also enjoyed some yummy food! Lillian's class sang a few Thanksgiving songs as well before they ate their feasts and I posted that before this. Here are some pictures of the kids at their parties.

Race for the Cure 2011

The annual Komen Austin Race for the Cure was held on Sunday. My mom and sisters all came in for the weekend to visit and participate in the race. We are so excited to participate and raise money for this cause that has affected us with my mom being diagnosed twice. My kids even count down the days until the "pink ribbon race." They were all smiles Sunday morning getting up and putting on their shirts for the race day.

I ran the 5k in 30 minutes and 22 seconds. Not to shabby for only having 2 months to prepare after having Marjorie. This was my 4th time running this 5k and my 5th 5k overall. I hope to now train to run the Capital 10k in April next!

We had a great time visiting with all the family here. My aunt Kathy and uncle Randy also made the trip so we got to see them and she did the walking portion of the race with mom, Katy, and the kids. My sister, Katy and brother-in-law, Clay brought their nephew on his side, Cooper, too. My kids had a blast with him playing.
