A Long Weekend Visit

We were so excited to have my sister, Katy and my baby nephew Parker come stay with us for a while! They drove in Wednesday afternoon and stayed through Sunday lunch. We haven't seen them since we were in Alto when Parker was born. Parker is growing so much and it was so wonderful to see him awake and soaking in his surroundings more. He is such a sweet baby and snuggles all the time! Lillian wanted to hug and kiss him all the time. We also loved having Aunt Katy here to visit with and play with too. We sure do miss them now that they are gone!

Then Grandpa JD and Jamie came on Friday night and spent the weekend, so we had lots of family fun. Andrew got his birthday gifts which he loves...some Toy Story games, clothes, and a Toy Story table and chairs set for outside. We did a lot of visiting and playing with them. Katy and I were so excited to be treated to a pedicure and manicure with Jamie. That was a very welcome break...nice and relaxing and my feet just loved it! We also picked out letters for my baby girl's wall, so Jamie is going to decorate them and mail them to me and I'll share them in the future. Yay! Thanks Dad and Jamie for a nice weekend. It was fun!

Happy Birthday Andrew!

I cannot believe that my BABY is 3 years old today! Where did the time go? Seriously! Where did it go?

My sweet Andrew, a.k.a. Brother, is my biggest handful of a child and really tests my patience more than enough, but he is also the most loveable and cuddly little man! His smile and laugh put a spark in my heart everytime! He is such a wonderful blessing from the Lord above.

Happy 3rd Birthday, Brother! We love you to pieces!

Andrew's 3rd Birthday Party

We had Andrew's 3rd birthday party today! He had a blast with his friends. The weather was very questionable this morning with drizzle and clouds, but the afternoon turned out to be lovely! Lots of sun and warm! The kids ran around all over the backyard and we paused for pizza and cupcakes. Andrew loved his Toy Story themed stuff. Hopefully all the kids will sleep well tonight after all that running around!

Baby Koenning the 3rd is a....

GIRL! I just knew it from the beginning! This pregnancy has been a lot more like my one with Lillian than with Andrew, so my instincts said girl! Sure enough, at my ultrasound appointment on Tuesday, I got to see her for myself! She is measuring perfectly for being in her 19th week. She was sticking her legs out for us and waved her hand. I will probably get to see her again in another 6 weeks because the position she was in was difficult for the person to get a good measurement of her heart. The doctor said she wasn't concerned, but just wanted to make sure she got a good look at the heart. So, yay, I get to see her one more time!
Apparently the 2 dots in the middle are labia to indicate a girl

Besides me being excited about having another girl, big sister Lillian has been very enthused! She wants to look at all the baby girl things I've been getting out of storage and keeps asking about her baby sister. She likes to rub my belly and tell it it is cute! Such a sweet big sister. Andrew seems like he could care less! ha ha...we'll see how this goes when she gets here!

Valentine Kids

The kids had a great Valentine's Day this year. They were showered with cards and gifts from family! They got 2 big packages from Grandpa JD and Jamie and were jumping up and down with excitement. They also got cards from Grandma Teddy, Aunt Sherlene, Aunt Dianne, and Granny Pearman. Here are some pictures of them on Valentine's Day.

Valentine's Day Parties

I was so happy when it turned out we didn't have any rain yesterday afternoon or last night! I was worried we would have ice and therefore wouldn't have preschool since they cancel if Round Rock has a 2 hour delay. The kids, especially Lillian, have been so excited about having their Valentine's day parties. We addressed their Valentine cards on Tuesday afternoon and they have been carrying around the extra ones since them like prizes!

Andrew also had a pajama party/teddy bear picnic. It was supposed to be last week, but school was cancelled last Thursday due to the snowy weather. So they had double the fun today.

Here are some pictures of both kids in their parties. I bounced back and forth between the two to see the festivities.

The Kids Have Power!

The kids have power....power wheels, that is! After the freezing weather and snow this week, we got out to enjoy a beautiful 70 degree afternoon while it lasts! I hear we are to expect cold weather again very soon. So both kids decided to ride their power-driven vehicles up and down the sidewalk today. They are getting a lot better at steering and driving them! Here are my little drivers!

6 Years and Counting....

Brandon and I celebrated 6 years of marriage yesterday. It has been a blur! We all went out to eat for lunch as a family at Joe's Crab Shack. The kids LOVE that place. There is plenty to look at and they love when the waitors dance. This is the best pic they could get with my camera due to the lighting right by the window.
They took one picture with their camera they are supposed to post to their website, but I just checked and it isn't there yet.

Then in the evening, Brandon got me roses and we went to Mass. It was a nice and peaceful end to the day. I can't believe we are already beginning our 7th year of marriage. Lots to look forward to with our children and new baby on the way!

Round Rock Snow 2011

Brandon and I went to bed last night seeing the flurries coming down, but we didn't know how much we were actually going to get. It seems like it has snowed several other times in other parts of Texas this year, but we have yet to see any. So I guess, we finally had our turn!

I woke up with my pregnant bathroom habit at 4 in the morning and looked out to see white! Then when we got up this morning, there was lots more! The kids were super excited and couldn't wait to get out there. They kept asking me and finally around 9 a.m. I got dressed and we bundled up and went out. Here are some pictures. We didn't stay out long though since we were freezing and I'm already a little sick and didn't want to get the kids sick.
