Lillian's 5th Birthday Party

Lillian had a great 5th Birthday party at the park with her buddies! It was a beautiful day with comfortable temperatures, a nice breeze and sunshine. The kids ran all over the place playing and stopped for cupcakes and juice before running around some more with their sugar highs. Lillian was so excited about every detail. She had chosen princess cupcakes and they were delicious! She got lots of great gifts that she has been playing with at home since she opened them all! I can't believe I already have a 5 year old!!!

Lott Photos

I had the pleasure of having my friend Jamie and her husband, Nick take some great photos of the kids a few weeks ago. They are starting a photography business on the side and were developing their website, so wanted pictures of other kids besides their own to add. If you have kids, you probably know how hard it is to take them to a studio and have them sit for pictures, so having these done in about 20 minutes while they just played around at the park was amazing to me. I love all the colors and vividness of them. Check them out when you can at http://www.lottphotos.com/ I definitely recommend them! (Look for pictures of my kids on the site when you do...they are famous! ha ha )

70 Degees and Sunny

You have to take advantage of the beautiful weather while it lasts! We have had a really cold and rainy winter so far here, which isn't usual for Texas. We've been stuck inside way too much and the kids love getting out to the park. Today it was 70 degrees and gorgeous out, so we took advantage!

The kids love this playground at Old Settler's Park because it is a short walk to a little bridge on the running trail. They love to go throw rocks over into the water. Our laugh for the afternoon was when a male runner went by us without a shirt and Lillian looks and points and says really loudly, "He's NAKED!" ha ha! He smiled at us as he went by....oh the things kids say!
